About Us

Hi, I'm Jason, and I want to be your wedding DJ.

I try to be different than other wedding DJs. I try to tailor each event to really match the personalities of not just my clients but their entire families. Its a tough job, but I enjoy the challenge. By meeting with my clients 2-3 times before their wedding I really feel like I'm DJing for my friends by the time the wedding comes rather than just another client. Personal connections matter most in making a memorable day.

I started DJing way back in 1995 at the ripe old age of 15, and since then I've DJed literally hundreds of weddings in the Calgary area. That kind of experience at a young age is rare, and it gives me a unique ability to be able to please everyone at your wedding.

In 2004 I started Dance! Shout! Productions with the idea of cutting out the middle man - that is the DJ companies that I had been working for. I was tired of going to weddings feeling unprepared because I had never met the couple I was going to DJ for. I knew I could do better for the people who were expecting me to make the biggest day of their lives memorable.

No other DJ in this area, that I know of, spends as much time learning about up and coming trends in weddings and DJing in general. I network on a daily basis with DJs from across North America and around the globe to see the latest and greatest techniques and ideas for making your wedding day special.

About Me

I'm currently 30 years old and have been happily married for the last 7 years to my beautiful wife Erin. We have two busy little boys aged 4 and 5. I received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry in 2001. Aside from DJing I have a passion for old Volkswagens and website design.
